Montana State Skiers at New Mexico Invitational

The alpine events will take place at Taos Ski Valley/Stauffenburg, Taos, N.M. The giant slalom races will be held on Friday, with the slalom events on Saturday morning.
The Nordic races will take place at the Enchanted Forest Nordic Center, Red River, N.M. The classical competition will begin on Friday morning, with the freestyle event on Saturday.
This weekend’s races will go a long ways in deciding who will represent the Bobcats at the NCAA Skiing Championships, which MSU will host March 5-8.
Montana State has been strongest this winter in the Nordic events, as Anders Folleraas, Gunnar Kristiansen, Nathan Park, Kaelin Kiesel and Claire Rennie, have all posted top ten performances.
The women’s alpine squad has been paced by Victoria Christensen and Ali Leighton, particularly in the giant slalom event, while Toby LaMar and Don Brockett lead the Bobcat men.
