MSU Signs Top Idaho Track and Field Recruit

She currently attends Highlands High School in Pocatello, Idaho.
Marchand is a two-time Idaho state high school champion in the 100 and 200 meter race in 2006 and 2007. In 2005 as a freshman, she placed second in state in both races.
“This is really exciting for us,” Kennedy said. “She is a great addition to our sprint group and has the potential to make an immediate impact on our team as her times are already competitive at this level.”
Marchand has a personal best of 12.05 in the 100 and 25.07 in the 200. She hopes to major in cellular biology. Her father is a Big Sky Conference football official.
