Montana State looks to rebound on Saturday night – literally, as well as figuratively – after Idaho State pounded the Bobcats 44-to-29 on the glass and 64-49 on the scoreboard. Idaho State snagged 17 offensive rebounds, including a dozen during a first half that set the tone of the game. Logan Kinghorn grabbed 13 rebounds on the night and two others got eight each to lead the Bengal mauling. Divaldo Mbunga posted a 12-point, eight-rebound night to lead the Bobcats.

Saturday’s game tips off at 7:05 pm in Ogden’s Dee Event Center, where the Wildcats are 10-2 this year. Weber State scored a 76-67 home win over Montana on Thursday to remain alive as the only team that can wrest a share of the Big Sky regular season title away from Portland State. Weber State owns a commanding 66-32 lead in a series that dates to just before these teams joined the Big Sky Conference as charter members in 1963. Montana State is 6-39 in Ogden, including a 5-28 record in the Dee Event Center. MSU’s last win in Ogden was a 76-67 win on January 6, 2005, giving the Wildcats a two-game winning streak in their home gym against Montana State.
