Mercer Tabbed Big Sky Player of the Week

Mercer led the Bobcats to a 91-87 victory over league-leading Montana at home on Friday night. With the win, Montana State improved to 6-3 in Big Sky play and moved into fourth place in the conference standings.
The senior guard scored a career-high 32 points and added four rebounds and three assists against the Lady Griz. She went 10-of-22 from the field, including 6-of-12 from 3-point range.
Mercer also knocked down an impressive 6-of-6 at the free-throw line.
The native of Perth, Australia now has 56 treys on the season, which is the fifth-best mark in Montana State’s single-season history. Mercer is also averaging 22.4 points a game in conference play.
