Iddins to Start Saturday

Junior Mark Iddins will start at quarterback for Montana State Saturday at Northern Arizona, Bobcat coach Rob Ash said Tuesday, replacing starter Cody Kempt, a sophomore.
"Cody Kempt will not be available Saturday due to a medical situation," Ash said. "He's declined to sign a waiver for us to release that kind of information, so this is the only comment we'll have on the Cody's status. I'm confident that Mark Iddins will step in and perform well this week."
Iddins, a junior, is 17-for-37 passing for 182 yards this year with two touchdowns and one interception. Sophomore Mark Desin serves as Iddins' backup.
