Gonzaga (4-0) raced out a 46-18 margin at intermission as Montana State (2-1) connected on 26 percent from the field.
MSU was led in the loss by freshman Katie Bussey with 15 points, while Spokane native Lyndi Seidensticker returned home to chip in 12 points, including a two-of-four effort from three-point range.
The Bulldogs had three players in double-figures led by Heather Bowman with 25 points and eight rebounds.
Montana State will play at Washington State, Sunday at 4 p.m. (MST).
