Bobcat Spikers Drop Five-Set Thriller at Idaho State

And, despite holding a 2-1 lead entering the fourth set, the Bobcats came up short in their quest for its first Big Sky Conference win of the season with a 25-15, 24-26, 17-25, 25-22, 15-9 setback to Idaho State, Friday night in Reed Gym.
Two Montana State (3-22, 0-15) players reached double-figure as Nicole Grypiuk and Kyla Hendry posted 12 and ten kills, respectively. Hendry also finished with a career-high nine blocks guiding all players.
Defensively, three MSU players posted double-digits digs as Meghan Albiston, Laura Viren and Macy Merrell all had 16 saves apiece.
Idaho State (10-19, 5-10) was led by Sarah Carson with 12 kills and three blocks.
The Bobcats will conclude their season at Weber State, Saturday night.
