Bobcats Open Season Against Nevada

Montana State opens the 2008-09 season, the third of Brad Huse’s coaching tenure with the Bobcats, on Saturday by hosting five-time defending Western Athletic Conference champion Nevada. The Wolf Pack and MSU were Big Sky Conference rivals from 1979-91, but since Nevada moved out of the Big Sky UN has become one of the top basketball programs in the West. The Wolf Pack is led by the backcourt of senior Lyndale Burleson and returning WAC Freshman of the Year Armon Johnson. Burleson is the squad’s only senior, and one of the team’s two juniors is an incoming transfer.
