Eastern Washington Soars Past Bobcat Spikers

Montana State (3-19, 0-12) opened the match taking the first set behind a .378 attack mark, while holding Eastern Washington (13-10, 8-4) to .190.
“I really liked the way we opened the first set,” said first-year head coach Sara Schaub. “Now, we need to extend that emotion and execution over the length of an entire match.”
MSU was led by Kyla Hendry and Jodeen Rademacher with ten kills, apiece. Senior Kaytlin Van Burger also added to the Bobcat attack with eight kills and three blocks.
A trio of Montana State players reached double-digit digs led by Meghan Albiston with 14, Laura Viren 10, and Rademacher 10. Setter Taylor Faught dished out 29 assists and added nine digs.
The Bobcats will host Montana on Friday in Shroyer Gym.
