Northern Arizona (13-6, 5-5) was led by Lexi Sullivan with a match-high 20 kills.
Montana State (3-17, 0-10) was paced by Laura Viren with eight kills and 13 digs. Also in double-digit digs for the Bobcats was Meghan Albiston with 15. MSU was guided at the net by Viren and Kaytlin Van Burger with four blocks, apiece.
MSU ended the match out-blocking NAU 7-6.
Junior setter Taylor Faught dished out 28 assists, averaging 9.33 per game.
Montana State will host Portland State on Thursday in Shroyer Gym.
