The ‘Cats fly out this weekend to meet Sacramento State at Hornet Stadium at 2:05 Pacific time on Saturday. Both teams are looking to rebound from tough losses this last week—MSU to Eastern Washington (17-34) and Sac State to Montana (7-43). The Hornets have only one conference win this season against Portland State.

Still searching for their first conference win, MSU will take a long road trip this week to Northern Colorado and then on to Northern Arizona. Northern Colorado is currently at the top of the Big Sky at 6-2 and NAU is in the middle at 4-4.

Last Week:
Montana State freshman Patrick Casey recorded his first collegiate individual title, winning the Idaho State Invitational, Saturday morning at ISU’s Centennial Course.
Rebecca Sorenson led the MSU women to a second place team finish as MSU’s top runner, finishing 5th overall covering the four-kilometer course in 16:18.
Men’s and Women’s Basketball
Montana State men’s and women’s basketball teams started their season Friday, Oct. 17 with practice. Schedules and rosters for both teams are available at www.msubobcats.com
