Carlos Taylor Dubbed Big Sky Player of the Week

Taylor, a 6-foot-1, 185-pound senior guard from Memphis, Tenn., scored 18 of Montana State’s final 23 points as the Bobcats outscored Montana 41-24 in the second half. Taylor made 11-of-16 shots from the field, including 3-of-5 from 3-point range. Taylor went 9-of-11 from the free-throw line. He also had had four rebounds and a block.
Taylor netted a total of 21 points in the second half. His 34 points were the fourth-most scored by a Bobcat against the Grizzlies, and the most scored by any MSU player since Tom Domako scored 37 against Weber State in 1988.
Taylor’s 34 points were the most by a Big Sky player this season. Taylor scored 30 points in a win over Pepperdine earlier this season.
Taylor is averaging a league-best 17.4 points per game. This is his second Player of the Week honor this season.
