Bobcats Host Griz to Launch League Season

After wrapping up its best non-conference season since 2003, the Bobcats open Big Sky play on Saturday against preseason league favoritte Montana at 7:05 pm in Worthington Arena. The high-powered Grizzlies boast a supremely talented squad, led by forward Jordan Hasquet (16.2 points, 76.7 rebounds a game) and center Andrew Strait (11.4, 5.5). Guard Matt Martin adds 12.3 points and 2.2 boards. Montana State punctuated its pre-conference schedule with a thrilling 60-59 win at Oregon State on Carlos Taylor’s last-second jumper Sunday. Montana has won four straight against MSU.
