Rudy Qualifies for NCAA Indoor Championships at MSU Open

Rudy cleared 13’9.25” and missed at 14’3” to finish first in the event. Senior sprinter Dan Johnson won both the men’s 200 and 400 with a Big Sky qualifying mark in each. Johnson was just 1.4 seconds off the NCAA qualifying time while setting a new school record in the 400 with a time of 47.56. Johnson also qualified for the BSC Championships in the 55 meter dash (6.37). Junior Amanda DeHaan was a double qualifier for the BSC Championships in the 55 meter hurdles and the 400.
Montana State qualified a total of 17 performances for the conference championships in Pocatello, Idaho Feb. 29-March 1.
