Central Michigan Sweeps Bobcat Spikers

The Bobcats hit an icy .116 from the field.
“We’re hanging our hats on our defense this season, and we didn’t get it done against Central Michigan,” said MSU head coach Miya Malauulu. “It was a lackluster performance. We have to get in the mindset to be ready to compete at a high level in every match.”
The Bobcats were led in the loss by Laura Viren with a team-high nine kills. Viren also added four digs, two blocks and two aces. Patti Anderson and Rachelle Allen paced the Bobcats with six digs, apiece.
Central Michigan (7-0) was led by Kate Fissel with 14 kills, six aces and four digs.
Montana State (0-8) will play Florida Atlantic on Friday morning
