Montana State (1-12, 0-2) was led by Kaytlin Van Burger with 13 kills, a .333 attack mark and a team-high six blocks. Patti Anderson also reached double digits with 13 kills, while adding 15 digs. Junior Laura Viren had 12 kills and a team-high 20 digs.
MSU will host Eastern Washington on Thursday in Shroyer Gym.
