SDSU Sweeps Bobcat Spikers

The loss dropped the Bobcats to 0-4 on its opening road trip.
“We battled early in games one and two, but then gave up 3-5 point runs,” said MSU head coach Miya Malauulu. “Overall, I’m happy with the way we finished out the match. We did a better job all the way around.”
Montana State was led by Laura Viren with ten kills and eight digs, while Wendy Doutre added nine kills and a .412 attack mark. Setter Sarah Allen dished out 32 assists and had ten digs. Freshman libero Meghan Albiston has a team-high 15 digs.
The Bobcats will host the 13th annual Holiday Inn Classic, which features Texas A&M, Washington State and Utah State. MSU opens play against WSU on Friday night in Shroyer Gym.
