Wendy's Hall of Fame Inductions Set for September

Three All-Americas, the most decorated volleyball player in school history, and an all-conference men's basketball standout highlight the 2007 class of the Wendy's MSU Athletics Hall of Fame, which earns induction on September 28.
Wade Ayala, Montana State's only All-America, becomes the first Bobcat wrestler to join the Wendy's Hall of Fame. He joins Kodak All-America Honorable Mention Blythe Hommes Hintz, who earned Big Sky Women's Basketball MVP honors as a senior; All-America defensive lineman Les Leininger; versatile volleyball star Kim Steffel Duis, AVCA Northwest Region selection; and All-Big Sky basketball player Tom Storm, who took home MVP honors from the prestigious All-College Tournament as a senior. The five individuals join Montana State's 1966-67 Big Sky Championship men's basketball squad as the school's 2007 induction class.
The event begins in the May Ballrooms of the Strand Union Building at 6 pm with a no-host social. Dinner follows at 7 pm, with induction ceremonies capping the evening. Cost is $18 per individual, $30 for two. For information, contact Bobcat Athletics at 406/994-5435.
