Montana State Women’s Basketball Team Posts 11th Best Turn Around

The Bobcats, under first-year head coach Tricia Binford, recorded a 3-23 ledger during the 2005-06 campaign. This winter, Binford guided MSU to a 13-16 overall mark, which included an 8-8 Big Sky mark and a conference postseason appearance.
MSU was 8.5 games ahead of the 2005-06 season.
“Getting our name on this list means we’re on the right track,” Binford said. “It means we’ve established some stability, and its something to build upon.
“There is a growing excitement for the women’s game in our community, which speaks well for our future.”
Oklahoma State notched the most improved record in the country. The Cowgirls went from a 6-22 mark to a 20-11 record this season. It was an improvement of 12.5 games.
The Montana State women’s basketball squad will take an international tour to the Bahamas on May 13.
