Search for Football Coach Moves Forward

Fields expects MSU's football coach search committee to have a
working list by early next week. "The committee will meet again after
the Memorial Day weekend," he said, "and at that point will complete the
process of paring the pool of 70 applicants to 10 or so that we'll carry
over to the next phase. We will begin phone interviews next week."
MSU hopes to complete its search for a replacement for Mike
Kramer, who was fired last week, by mid-June.
