Bobcat Women Host Three Tennis Matches at the BATC

The Bobcats, who have played 16 matches away from the friendly confines of the Bobcat-Anderson Tennis Center, will meet Big Sky rival Northern Arizona, Friday at 2 p.m. MSU will also host Weber State and MSU-Billings on Saturday, at 8:45 a.m. and 4 p.m., respectively.
“We’re excited to be at home,” said MSU women’s coach Denise Albrecht. “We always have a good battle with Northern Arizona, so it’s nice to have the home court advantage. We need everyone to contribute this weekend for us to be successful.”
Montana State is currently on a four-match win streak, which includes Big Sky Conference victories over Eastern Washington and Northern Colorado.
The Bobcats have received a strong boost from the middle of its line-up as junior Katy Proietti and freshman Laura Villegas both went undefeated last weekend. Sophomore walk-on McKenzie Hilmer is also contributing with a team-best 9-2 record at No. 6 singles.
The MSU men’s team will be on the road this weekend, facing Loyola-Marymount and Boise State in Idaho.
