Montana State begins its 2007 spring football camp today (Tuesday) at 4 pm on the team's practice fields, blustery spring weather and all. "Hey, it's Bozeman," MSU coach Mike Kramer, beginning his eighth year of spring practices at MSU, said.
Although the thought of practicing twice before putting pads on makes him wince like a 12-year old at shower time, he knows practicing without pads on benefits the team. "We'll work on gaining a rhythm for practice," Kramer said. "Every good team develops a sense of rhythm. As a veteran coaching staff, we know what pace we need, and how to create that environment."
The Bobcats practice at 4 pm Tuesday, and again at 4 pm Wednesday either outside or in Worthington Arena.
