Bobcat Skiers 10th after Second Day at NCAA Championships

MSU’s top finisher was Don Brockett, who placed 20th overall with a two-run total of 2:24.99. Also scoring for the Bobcats was freshman Toby LaMar, who finished 34th in a time of 2:29.21
Adam Cole of Dartmouth won the men’s title in 2:20.42.
Dartmouth sits atop the team standings. The Big Green posted 330 points, followed by Denver 329, Utah 280, Colorado 275, Vermont 211.5, Middlebury 204, Northern Michigan 189, Nevada, 181.5, New Mexico 177 and MSU 145.
MSU’s All-America standout Spela Bertoncelj posted one of the top 15 times after the opening run, but was disqualified from the race.
Freshman Amy Lattimer had MSU’s top finish, placing 23rd overall in 1:37.96. She was followed by Carmel McElroy, who placed 30th in 1:48.81.
The Nordic classic events will take place on Friday.
