Bobcats Face Wednesday/Sunday Weekend to Close Home Season

Montana State hits the home stretch of the Big Sky Conference tournament chase this weekend, and gets a dose of some unusual scheduling, as well, hosting Northern Colorado on Wednesday and Northern Arizona on Sunday afternoon.
The 'Cats enter this weekend's games with a 7-6 conference mark, one of six league teams bunched between six and eight wins heading into the Big Sky's final regular season week. MSU faces 2-11 Northern Colorado on Wednesday before battling 8-5 and second-place NAU, still in the hunt for a share of the league title, on Sunday.
The unusual schedule accommodates the Big Sky Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships, on tap for Worthington Arena on Friday and Saturday. Tipoff for Wednesday's contest is the standard 7:05 pm, but Sunday's Senior Day matinee begins at 3:05 pm. The game honors MSU's senior class of center Ted Morris, from St. Louis, and homegrown forwards Nick Dissly of Bozeman and Carson Durr of Roberts.
