Idaho State Shoots Lights-Out in Win over Bobcats

Idaho State (11-12, 7-4) was led by Andrea Lightfoot with 22 points. Natalie Doma, the league’s leading scorer, along with Jeni Boesel each chipped in 20, apiece.
“We still have some immature moments,” said MSU head coach Tricia Binford. “Defensively, we need to be ready to go from the opening tip. We’ll but this behind us and move on.”
The Bengals connected on 20-of-38 in the first half and raced to a 51-32 advantage at intermission.
Montana State (11-14, 6-7) shot 45 percent in the second half and held the Bengals to 32 percent, but was unable to chip away at the lead.
MSU was paced for the third straight game by Whitney Connolly, who came off the bench to notch 19 points and seven rebounds. Also in double-figures were Krislyn Wallace 17 and Nubia Garcia 10.
MSU will travel to Northern Colorado on next Thursday.
