Bobcats Tangle with Hornets Wednesday

The Bobcats travel to California Wednesday to face scrappy and athletic Sacramento State in Hornet Gym, four days after a home loss to Montana dropped the team from second place into the jumbled pack looking to secure entry into the six-team Big Sky Tournament. Although five teams stand with either four (UM, Weber) or five (NAU, ISU, MSU) league losses, regular season title tie-breakers stand in favor of the team winning Wednesday’s Montana-Weber State clash, leaving the three five-loss squads to stave off challenges from PSU (7-7) and EWU (6-8) for the league’s final tourney spots.
