Montana Golfers in 13th After Tough First Day

"We had some really good things happen," head coach Brittany Basye said. "However we had high numbers on a couple holes and that hurts the score."
The 'Cats are led by junior Kelly Gillum in 24th place with an 81 for the first 18 holes. Following Gillum are Kate Steffanich (87), LaRae Smith (84), Shannon Donnegan (84) and Stephanie Simmons (92)
"This was a good practice day," Basye said, "and we will be back tomorrow to improve upon today."
The 'Cats finish their final round Tuesday.
