Bobcat Men’s Tennis Team Drops Match at Air Force

The Bobcats received victories at No. 1 singles, where Kyle McDonald knocked off Robby Alexander 6-3, 6-1. Also posting a win was Anton Leonenko at No. 5. The freshman posted a 3-6, 6-2, 10-7 win over Austin Francis.
At No. 4 singles, MSU’s Justin Hauck lost a hard-fought three set decision to AFA’s Keith Cronican 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (4).
The Falcons won the opening point of the match, taking two-of-three doubles contests.
MSU’s No. 1 tandem of McDonald and Jakob Dybala posted an 8-2 win, while Zach Buenger and Leonenko dropped a close 9-8 (4) decision at No. 2. The Bobcat’s No. 3 combination of Myles Perkins and Hauck were downed 8-2 by Cronican and James Tomlin.
The Bobcats will play at Northern Colorado on Sunday.
