MSU Faces Tough Competition at Friday's Dual Meet

Participating teams include Weber State, Montana State, Idaho State and Brigham Young University.
“With BYU there, you have one of the best dual meet teams in the country,” head coach Dale Kennedy said. “There’s a lot of talent in that program.”
On the men’s side, BYU took 14 competitors to the 2006 NCAA Outdoor Championships and came home with five All-Americans. Their women took four competitors and registered one All-American performance in the steeplechase. The Cougar men finished second in the NCAA West Regional last spring.
This is the second meeting for the Bobcats with Weber State and Idaho State this winter. In last week’s dual competition, MSU beat both the Wildcat men and women in the Dual Invite. The meet on Friday is a scored quadrangular.
