Daly Lands on All-Big Sky Team

Junior linebacker Bobby Daly earned All-Big Sky First Team honors Monday, Montana State's only player so honored.
Daly, who led the Big Sky Conference in tackles and was fourth in tackles-for-loss, became the first Bobcat defensive player since 2004 to earn First Team All-Big Sky honors. He is in the top five nationally in tackles, and is a finalist for the Buck Buchanan Award, presented to the Football Championship Subdivision's top defensive player.
Defensive end Dane Fletcher (soph., Bozeman) led the Big Sky in tackles-for-loss and cornerback Michael Beach (sr., San Pedro, CA) in passes defended, but both were named to the All-Big Sky Second Team. A pair of Great Falls products, senior defensive tackle Aaron Papich and sophomore offensive guard Jeff Hansen (so., Great Falls) also earned Second Team honors, along with running back Demetrius Crawford (jr., Fairfield, Calif.) and linebacker Epikopo King (sr., The Dalles, Ore.).
