Fans Encouraged to Get to the Big Game Early
11/16/2007 12:00:00 AM | General
Football fans planning to attend Saturday’s Cat-Griz contest may find getting in and out of the stadium will take a little longer than usual. Traffic routes instituted for the 2007 season will be in place for Saturday’s game including the early morning closure of Kagy Boulevard and Lincoln Street. After the game, traffic will also be routed to specific patterns to help the flow of traffic away from the stadium.
The maximum number of reserved and SRO tickets have been issued for Saturday’s contest and extra security personnel will be present to handle the expected larger crowds. Fans are encouraged to get to the stadium as early as possible to avoid delays at peak times.
Fans wishing to enter the Standard Lot on the north side of the stadium will be asked to show a valid game ticket to purchase a parking pass for that lot. Patrons are reminded that tents, canopies, trailers, and large trucks are not allowed in the interior parking area of the Standard Lot. The Standard Lot and the Booster Parking Lot will open at 8:00 a.m. on game day. Fans are reminded that a Bobcat Club hangtag is required to park in the west side Booster Parking Lot and the Premium Area of the “F” fieldhouse lot across from the stadium. Parking spaces in the Standard Lot will be available at the 7th Street gate beginning at 8:00 a.m. game day. Parking hangtags for the Standard Lot are $10.
