Bobcats Host Boise State on Friday

Even thought they didn’t play Montana State that weekend, Boise State’s last trip to Worthington Arena is one all Bobcat fans remember fondly. On March 8-9, 1996, Boise State upended Idaho State before losing to Weber State in the Big Sky Conference’s final league tournament with the Broncos and charter member Idaho. The Bobcats, of course, won the tournament in a runaway by beating Idaho and Weber State. This year’s Broncos beat Utah Valley in overtime to open the season, then challenged nationally-ranked Washington State before dropping a close contest.
