Idaho State Spikers Tame ‘Cats

Anderson, an outside hitter from Deer Lodge, ended the night hitting .145 from the field, while adding four blocks.
Also in double-figures for MSU were Rachelle Allen with 11 kills and Nicole Grypiuk with ten.
Senior setter Sarah Allen dished out 55 assists and added ten kills, while middle blocker Kaytlin Van Burger led all players with a career-high seven blocks.
Defensively, the Bobcats were paced by Meghan Albiston with 25 saves, and Laura Viren with 13 digs.
Albiston, a freshman from Idaho Falls, Idaho, has recorded 367 digs this season, making her the first freshman in Bobcat history to beak into MSU’s single-season top 10 in their inaugural year with the program. Albiston’s total currently ranks sixth on the all-time single-season list.
Idaho State was led in the victory by Britta Bartschi with 15 kills and six blocks.
Montana State will close out its 2007 season on Saturday night against Weber State in Shroyer Gym.
