Beach Earns Weekly League Honor

Michael Beach scored on touchdown on Saturday and set up another, leading Montana State to a 50-36 win over Portland State. The Big Sky Conference honored Beach on Monday as one of the league's co-players of the week.
Beach, a 6-foot, 194-pound senior from San Pedro, Calif., intercepted two passes in the fourth quarter, returning one for a 72-yard touchdown. Two possessions later, Beach picked off another pass and returned it 57 yards to the Portland State 11-yard line. MSU scored on the next play, increasing its lead to 43-22. Beach has five interceptions this season. He also had four tackles in the game.
