Bobcats Scrimmage Thursday

Montana State rolls out its 2007-08 men's basketball team for the first time Thursday night, when the Bobcats hold a Blue-Gold Scrimmage at 7 pm in Worthington Arena.
Bobcat coach Brad Huse looks forward to seeing his team under the duress of game-like circumstances in front of interested observers. "I want to see effort level and how we approach transferring what we've done in practice to game-like situations," he said.
With nine new players on the squad, Huse also looks to assimilate newcomers into the fold. Casey Durham and Mecklen Davis return as starters, and Carlos Taylor also brings extensive experience to the squad.
"I'm really looking to see how guys play together," he said. "It's so hard to tell until you start playing against other people but still when people are in the stands and guys know that it can change how some guys play, so I look forward to seeing how the guys react."
The scrimmage is free and open to the public.
