Bobcats Open Practice Friday

Brad Huse knows there are many more answers in place as his Montana State basketball program opens its second preseason camp under his direction on Friday. But he also knows there are a whole lot of questions, as well.
"We have a lot of new guys this year," Huse said, "as we did last year. It took us quite a while to evolve into the team we became last year. We obviously became real competitive once we got into league (games) last year. We may have the same formula this year, I don't know. We have returners, we have solid seniors, and we have a better feel for the people in the program, but it's the newcomers and how they react to the play at this level that can impact some of your decision making."
Huse said his coaching staff will use the time before opening the regular season (at UNLV on November 9 to get a feel for his squad. "We have to evolve as a team and find out what our strengths are and our characteristics are, and that can take some time. I think that can occur quicker this year."
Montana State's first practice of the season is Friday at 7 pm in Worthington Arena.
