North Dakota's 2005 Gatorade Player of the Year and Mr. Basketball, James Hennessy brings talent and experience to the Bobcat backcourt. Here is a look at a player Bobcat coach Brad Huse knew about from his days coaching at Jamestown College.
Q: Your Mom and Dad both played college athletics, what lessons have they imparted on you based on their experiences?
JH: That no matter how tough it gets, don't give up.
Q: You were a multi-sport star at Williston High, which sport is your favorite to play?
JH: Basketball.
Q: Did you know Coach Huse before he began recruiting you to MSU? What is your impression of him?
JH: No. He seems like a nice guy, but at the same time he pushes you to work hard.
Q: What was it like playing in the JC National Championship Tournament in Hutchison, Kansas?
JH: It was a great experience, I got the chance to play against great players as well as showcase my abilities.
