Mike Green Wins Men's Heptathlon at MSU Invite

Green had best marks in high jump, 55 hurdles and 1000 meter run, in addition to placing second in the 55, long jump and pole vault. At the 2006 indoor conference championships, Green placed fourth in the heptathlon, and is third on MSU’s top ten list. Teammate Kevin Ludwig placed second in the event with 4595 points. Both Green and Ludwig registered qualifying marks for the conference indoor championship at the event in the heptathlon. Senior Thomas Seely also posted a conference qualifying mark in the pole vault at a height of 15-02.75 feet.
The Bobcat indoor track squad hosts the Montana State Open on Jan. 19 at the Brick Breeden Fiedhouse with field events starting at 4:30 p.m. and track events at 5:00 p.m.
