Ellie Rudy Garners Second Consecutive BSC Weekly Honor

Rudy, a junior from Woodland Colorado, bettered her previous NCAA provisional qualifying mark to 13-6.5, just 2.75 inches short of an NCAA automatic qualifying bid. Rudy’s mark also gives her the fifth best current mark in the nation.
Rudy, a 2006 All-American in the outdoor pole vault event, is looking for her first automatic qualifying mark in the NCAA indoor event. In 2006, she had a provisional mark but fell just short of qualifying for the indoor national championship.
