Jefferson Plays for Texas on Friday

Mike Jefferson suits up as a collegian for the final time this weekend, as MSU's record-setting receiver represents his home state in the Texas vs. The Nation All-Star Game in El Paso on Friday.
Kickoff is 8 pm (MST) Friday in the Sun Bowl, giving Jefferson the opportunity to play in his home town for the first time since high school. Jefferson and his Texas teammates play for UTEP head coach Mike Price. The game is televised by CSTV.
Jefferson earned All-Big Sky honors for the Bobcats in 2006, catching 66 passes for 1,023 yards. The senior transfer from the University of Arizona earned national player of the week honors twice and set MSU's single-game all-purpose yards record with 305 against Idaho State.
