Memorial for Al Beye Slated for Sunday

The service, open to the public, brings together Beye's many friends, along with family members. Beye attended Montana State University for two years, studying French and Business. He earned All-Big Sky Conference honors in 2006, when he set a school record for blocked shots in a season.

While best known for his skill and accomplishments in basketball, Beye visited many Bozeman-area classrooms to read to and interact with students of all ages, and lent his time to several projects in the Bozeman community. He died on December 15 near Dillon.
