Kramer, 'Cats Ride the Wave of Publicity

When Mike Kramer visits with ESPN's Rece Davis Sunday afternoon 5:30 and 6:00 pm Mountain time, it will cap a wild 20-hour period for Montana State's veteran head coach.
That wild ride began with a memorable Sporting News Radio interview while riding the team bus near the Denver airport a couple of hours after Saturday's stunning win over Colorado. Kramer closed a national radio interview by telling the hosts, "I think I echo the sentiments of every I-AA coach when I say: Long time listener, first time caller. I know you guys don't need me very often, but whenever you do just give me a call."
The spoils of MSU's win included a considerable amount of national publicity. In the hours after the game, Kramer spoke with Sporting News Radio, Fox Sports Radio, and ESPN News. On Sunday, Kramer visits with ESPN's college football pre-game show, and new safety Tyrone Henderson, who transferred to MSU from Colorado less than two weeks ago, pre-records a phone interview for use on ESPN's Cold Pizza on Monday.
"It's crazy," Kramer said with a smile. "It's all part of the fun."
