MSU Golfers Head to Spokane

The nine-team event takes place at Hangman Valley Golf Course with a 36-hole round on Monday and an 18-hole round on Tuesday.
Bobcat head coach Brittany Bayse is looking for improvement from the team’s 12th place finish at Colorado two weeks ago.
“We’ve been working a lot on our short game since Colorado,” Bayse said. “I hope to see a lot of improvement in our overall performance as a team.”
The five scoring players for the tourney will be sophomore LaRae Smith, junior Kelly Gillum, junior Stephanie Simmons, sophomore Tessa Stevenson, and junior Kate Steffanich. Smith led the MSU team at Colorado placing 11th with a score of 218.
Big Sky Conference schools Eastern Washington and Montana will also compete in the nine-team tourney.
