Big Sky Working to Correct Issues With Big Sky TV

“Our first week of football certainly didn’t go as smoothly as we hoped,’’ said Big Sky Conference Commissioner Doug Fullerton. “As we looked to develop BigSkyTV.org, we knew that we would run into some technical issues along the way, both on campus and in the streaming technology. I know there was a high frustration level with the fans concerning the glitches we experienced this past weekend, and I can assure you that the schools, the Conference office, and SCN share their frustration. We by no means are satisfied and have been diligently working this week to ensure that we correct those issues. We feel confident we have.’’
Big Sky TV and SCN are offering a no-questions-asked, full refund to any registered subscriber up to Oct. 1.
“We would like subscribers to give us another chance to show them that Big Sky TV can become a viable avenue to track their favorite Big Sky team,’’ Fullerton said. “For non-subscribers, we’d like to extend the offer that if they purchase a single-game pass, discover that they like what they see and want to upgrade to a school or conference pass, we will credit the amount of a single game - up to as many as three single-game passes - towards the full amount of the other passes.’’
This week’s football schedule includes five games, and three teams ranked in this week’s I-AA Top 25. No. 21 UC Davis will take on No. 20 Montana State. No. 3 Cal Poly is at Sacramento State. Northern Arizona is at home against Dixie College. Weber State takes on 2-0 Southern Utah, and Eastern Washington is at home against Central Washington.
The first conference volleyball matches are also on the schedule this weekend, beginning Thursday night. Eight volleyball matches will be video streamed this weekend, as will soccer matches at Northern Arizona.
Fans may purchase single-game passes for $6.95. A University Annual Pass, which will allow fans to view all the events of their favorite school, costs $59.55, or roughly $1.00 per event. A Big Sky Conference Pass, which allows for viewing of all events live or archived throughout the year, costs $99.95, or roughly .25 per event.
