MSU Golfers Finish Twelfth

“This was a huge tournament for LaRae,” head coach Brittany Bayse said. “Those two (Gillum and Smith) showed up and played steady both days."
According to Coach Bayse, the Ptarmigan Country Club course was a challenge. “The course was tough, it was a placement course. You needed to play smart to do well.”
The MSU team finished the event in 12th place, holding the same position they had after round one. Eastern Washington led the Big Sky team contingent finishing in a tie for sixth.
“We have to work on our confidence,” Bayse said. “Golf is a game of confidence and we need to work on ours.”
