Carpenter to Start at QB for Bobcats

Mike Kramer named Cory Carpenter Montana State's starting quarterback prior to Monday's morning practice session, the seventh-year Bobcat head coach announced.
Carpenter is a third-year junior from The Dalles, Ore. He completed two of his three passes for 51 yards last season as MSU's backup quarterback. Jack Rolovich, a junior transfer from Novato, Calif., and the University of Hawaii, is second on the Bobcat depth chart at quarterback, Kramer indicated.
