Henigman Advances

It wasn't what he wanted, but it was good enough.
Bobcat senior Josh Henigman (from Bridger) advanced to the hammer throw finals with a toss of 207-7 in his first throw in the preliminary round at the NCAA Track and Field Championships on Wednesday. Henigman competes as one of 12 finalists on Friday afternoon at 1:00.
"It was solid, but it was not what I was after," Henigman said in the afternoon heat at Hornet Stadium. "It's warm here. I'll just stay out of the sun (the next two days), get some rest, and get after it (Friday). In this meet, you just put everything on the line and see what you can get done."
MSU's Ellie Rudy (pole vault) and Erin Jones-Graf (heptathlon) compete on Friday, as well.
