Montana State added to its frontcourt versatility
Monday, adding Danny Piepoli from Pasadena, Calif., according to MSU coach
Brad Huse.
Piepoli, a 6-6 combo forward, averaged 12 points and eight rebounds a game at Pasadena High as a senior. He garnered notice playing with the Lamar Odom I-Can All-Stars AAU squad this spring.
"Danny is really athletic," said Bobcat coach Brad Huse. "He has the ability to finish at the basket and move outside and hit three-pointers. He came onto the scene late but ended up getting several Division I offers, and we're excited that he's decided to attend Montana State."
Huse said Piepoli could impact the Bobcat program early in his career. "Physically he's almost ready for Division I basketball," Huse said, "and he's been working very hard. Danny had a great spring, and is a very dedicated player."
