Golf Team Adds Albuquerque Standout

Elise Nelsen from Albuquerque, N.M., has signed a National Letter-of-Intent to join the Montana State golf program, according to Bobcat coach Brittany Basye.
Nelsen, from La Cueva High School, has won three tournaments this season, finishing in the top five in nine of her 10 outings. She is a two-time All-City selection who finished fifth in the New Mexico State Tournament last week.
"Elise is a good athlete who will work hard and be a great student," Basye said. "She doesn't have a great deal of golf experience, but she has an athletic swing and a great attitude that I think translates well to our program. She is a great addition."
