Bobcats Post Solid Day at Weber

Montana State translated its first warm-weather competition of the outdoor season into 14 new conference qualifying marks, a regional mark, and a school record at the Weber State Invitational on Saturday.
Junior Steve Heberly continued his extreme makeover of the Bobcat record book in the 200, besting his own mark with a 21.31, shaving .07 off his previous record. Heberly also spearheaded MSU's winning 4 x 400 m relay team which posted a 3:15.93. Ty Norris anchored that relay witha 47.5 leg.
Sophomore pole vaulter Ellie Rudy set stadium and meet records with a jump of 13-3.75, which also boosted her into the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships.
"The weather was good today, and we had some outstanding performances," said MSU coach Dale Kennedy. "I think when we sit down and look at it we will have a lot of improvement. This was a good weekend for us."
